Upon inspection technician found a miss fire on #2 cylinder. Fuel balance rates indicate fuel system working fine, checked spark and ignition was working as designed. Checked compression and found compression was low, performed cylinder leak down test and found intake valve leaking, recommended replacing head for known concerns.
Replaced left (drivers side) head with a new one and needed both VVTI gears replaced. Upon disassembly we checked the block and assured it was still true with a straight edge. Installed new head with all new gaskets, replaced oil with new oil and recharged the A/C and all checked out fine. Let the vehicle run for 30 minutes and then went for a test drive. Vehicle got up to temperature and drove as designed. All checked out good at this time.
Lubricate and check chassis. Change oil and oil filter. Check air filter and breather filter. Check all fluid levels and tire pressures. Preform basic safety inspection. Road test vehicle.

Inspected and tried to start vehicle with low fuel and it would not start there is no spark or injector pulse ,have good fuel pressure at 55psi and all plugs look decent .First went and pull codes and had no codes with pcm so this could be directing us towards the auto shut down relay ,installed a jumper relay and turned it on the asd slot and did the same on the stater relay to get it to start from the engine bay. With asd on ,can wiggle some wires around to get it to start and it ran for a second traced a wires to the pcm tested for grounds on pin 3 of c3 connectors have a good ground on the harness side but intermittent when the pcm is connected indicating either a bad wire or bad pcm need more diag time to verify.
Replaced the Camshaft Position Sensor due to it was split in half test drove made sure there was good connection and vehicle is starting great.
Replaced the camshaft connector getting a good connection with the cam senor test drove and working great.

Installed new brake pads and resurfaced rotors. Test drove and vehicle stopping great.
FLUSHED COMPLETE BRAKE FLUID SYSTEM.
Replaced washer pump and washer working great.

Test drove and felt loose steering, inspected and loose track bar, tighten nut on bar and no other loose or damage suspension parts found, test drove and found steering tighter but vehicle still hunting on grooved roads. recommended alignment.

Inspected and found ac cooling but not getting cold, and passenger side not going full cold according to actuator. Recovered freon from system and found low .5lbs, charged system to correct amount and checked for leaks, no leaks found and ac pressures within spec, ac getting cold as designed, found passenger temperature actuator binding, recommended new actuator and verifying door is not damaged.
Removed actuator and found couple gear broken, old actuator overclocking and broke gear, replaced broken gear and installed new actuator. Checked and passenger side hvac working in all modes.

Checked and battery failing state of health test, recommended battery and retest. Alternator charging good and no excessive draw from vehicle when not running,
Replaced battery and vehicle starting fine.
Checked and found all sensor responding fine but 1 valve stem is leaking and that tire is low. Replaced 1 valve stem and set tire pressures, no service lights on at this time.
Unable to duplicate customer concern, Inspected and vehicle does not have a coolant level sensor, Test drove and only warning light on is for fuel level, note the thermostat gasket is leaking, but coolant is full at this time. Recommended thermostat and gasket for leak repair.
Replaced thermostat and gasket. Filled and no more leaks found.

ac comp is inop. code scan returned ac pressure sw circuit high, live data confirmed. found ac pressure switch unplugged, connector lock broken. applied sealer to connector to fix. compressor now operates but refrigerant system is low, does not build sufficient pressure or get cold. leak check found liquid line seal leaking. REC REPLACE LINE SEAL, SERVICE REFRIGERANT
Service air conditioner. Check condition of all belts and lines. Evacuate and recharge with reclaimed R-134. Test system performance.
