  • Found a good amount of oil leaking from back of motor. Oil is pouring out of between the valley by rear main seal. Oil is coating down back of motor and covering bottom of engine. Recommend rear main seal and cleaning bottom of engine when trans is out to make sure there are no other issues. Note-on safety inspection found front brakes at 2mm and rear at 2mm. I recommend front and rear brake job.
  • Replaced rear main seal and oil drain cover gasket and cleaned, Test drove and no more oil leaks found.

  • Diagnose and found dtc code p1326 which is indicating engine knock sensor concern, which is attached to the cylinder block and senses engine is knocking the sensor contains a piezoelectric element that converts vibration (or noise) into the voltage signal and sends this signal to the pcm. With this input signals from camshaft position and crankshaft position sensor ,pcm can identify engine is knocking at this time. Found oil is over full by 2.5 quarts which can cause hydraulic lock, Drained oil to correct level and verified internal engine damage is still present. Recommend replacing the engine at this time, recommended customer to dealer for possible warranty repair.

  • Confirmed concern. Pulled in and found exhuast behind flex pipe had been cut after the flange. Than someone cut the nut off of it. They were likely thinking it was the cat but it was just a muffler/silencer. It will have to be subleted to exhaust shop do to them butchering the system. Custom exhaust would need to be made or purchasing of cat back to silencer would be needed for replacement. These parts have nothing to do with limp mode just exhaust leak. Limp mode is being caused by the caused cat. Removed 02 sensor and was able to drive it without issue. This is allowing the exhaust to get out but very hard on the engine. The engine is running rich since vehicle cant get exhuast out. Recommend replacing cat and testing.
  • REPLACED EXHAUST MANIFOLD AND GASKET. CHECKED AND NO EXHAUST LEAKS FOUND.
  • Rotors just had rust build up from sitting. Pad life is around 50%. Driving on them will burn rust off.
