2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
Mileage133,443Service Date10/28/2025Services Performed- We test drove the vehicle and were able to confirm the customers complaint on the thumping noise, With further inspection of the drive line we found the slip yolk was making a noise so we will need to remove the rear drive shaft and re-lube the yolk, we also need to open up the rear differential to inspect the gears due to them being low on fluid and the customer stated they had added fluid before they brought it in. Once the inspection was complete we will need to clean out the rear differential of any debris and add fresh AMS differential fluid . We would also suggest a transmission flush due to mileage, We checked the fluid to see if it would qualify and it was brown in color so it would be border line as to if we should preform the flush. Once we notified the customer of the situation and they preferred for us to preform the flush.
- FLUSHED DIFFERENTIAL WITH NEW FLUID AND ADDED CORRECT CONDITIONERS.
- Removed the Rear drive shaft and lubed the slip yolk and reinstalled shaft.
- Flushed transmission with synthetic AMS oil transmission fluid.

Mileage110,173Service Date10/22/2025Services Performed- Inspected and found that the shift cable bushing had crumbled and allowed the shift cable to come off of the shifter. At this time I would recommend replacement of the shift cable bushing to the console shifter and retesting. Ordered in rebuild kit. I removed what was left of old bushings and rebuilt connector. Then connected to transmission. Tested and now shifting as it should.

2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Mileage214,101Service Date10/14/2025Services Performed- Confirmed concern. No DTCs. Inspected engine area and tested for vacuum leaks. Found large vacuum leak under the intake. Tested the front and back of manifold and found the leak on both sides. The leak is large. I will need to remove intake to inspect for damage or bad seals & replace intake gaskets, throttle body gasket. I also recommend spark plugs while there as much of the labor is in removing the intake.
- Took all necessary components loose to remove intake. Once intake was off I found one of the rear intake gaskets was pinched causing the intake leak. I also found pcv to manifold hose broke and repaired with bulk hose. The connector on one side is split. Replacing it with new. Dipstick was not bolted down so I connected it. Replaced the intake gaskets with new and saved the one bad one for customer. Once on I checked for leaks and none found. Vehicle is idling as it should.
- Pulled 3 spark plugs and all look like they have been replaced. Installed back. Installed new connector off brake booster that was split. Replaced broke pcv to manifold hose that was broke. The hose its self would of working if the connecting boots were not torn. The other shop connected the broke hose with a bulk hose with new hose clamps. If they would have replaced the end boots on this or just replaced the entire hose like we did it would not of been a concern.

2006 Chevrolet Avalanche
Mileage246,644Service Date9/12/2025Services Performed- Test drove vehicle and confirmed the customers complaint of vehicle is making a bad noise. Found that the left front wheel bearing is trashed internally causing a bad noise while driving. At this time I would recommend replacement of the wheel bearing.
- Removed the bad wheel bearing and replaced it with new, after testing the new bearing checks out good.
- Inspected and found a 185 milliamp draw on the negative terminal of the battery. After hooking up my draw testing set up and removing fuses from the battery junction box (main fuse box) and one by one I got to the IPC/DIM fuse (instrument cluster fuse) and after the removal of that fuse the draw dropped from 185 milliamps to 25 milliamps which is well within manufacturers specification for draw. I then removed the dash bezel and then removed the instrument cluster, unplugged it, then put the IPC fuse back in to find that the load on the battery stayed at 25 milliamps. Next I reinstalled all of the fuses to verify no other draws and found that the load stayed within specification at 34 milliamps. Manufacturer recommends a maximum draw of 50 milliamps before there is an issue. At this time i would recommend the replacement of the instrument cluster, or we can send it off to be rebuilt.
- Rebuild Cluster / 1 year Warranty

2011 Toyota Sienna
Mileage98,340Service Date9/4/2025Services Performed- Inspected and found coolant lines for rear heat damaged where lines make at 90 degree angle to rear, Recommended replacing heater line set and retest. Called Braun accessibility for cost and eta, eta 1 week and cost is over 1600 with shipping just on the part, we recommended removing and repairing coolant line for much less then the above part cost.
- We removed both of the damaged heater hoses, and removed the protective wrap off of them. Next we cut the damaged heater pipe under the car and flared it along with cutting some scores into the pipe to ensure that the heater hose would have plenty of grip. After that we cut a new section of hose that was about 2.5 feet long and rewrapped it in the protective wrap, then secured the wrap to the hose with cloth tape and 2 pieces of heat shrink at either end, then spliced that inline with the cut and flared heater pipe. For the other damaged hose we cut about a 2 foot section and repeated the process with the protective wrap and spliced it in. With the modified heater pipe I was unable to reuse the original mounting bracket, so I removed it and made a new mount for the heater hoses/ pipe, along with I took a few pieces of the old hose and cut them down the center and put them around the new hoses where they make contact with each other and the bracket and secured them with zipties to ensure that the hoses could not be rubbed through. We installed all new hose clamps during the process, then pulled 25inHg of vacuum on the cooling system to verify there was no other leaks, then filled the cooling system, and test drove the vehicle and found no other concerns at this time.

Mileage85,684Service Date8/26/2025Services Performed- Test drove. All brakes look good. Slight glaze on the front rotors could be causing some noise in morning. The front pads are at 5mm and rear are at 6mm. Plenty of life left. Tires are 7/32 all the way around. No recommendations at this time

2018 Ford Mustang
Mileage92,439Service Date8/19/2025Services Performed- Inspected and found no codes, so i proceeded to change the blower speed over and over and was not able to replicate an issue. I unplugged both the resistor and the blower motor to check for any damage due to over amping causing the connectors to melt, but everything appeared to be okay. I removed the cabin air filter to see if it was restricting airflow and found that it is clean and not causing any issues. I cannot replicate the customers concern at this time.
- Hood stuck shut. Carefully, used plastic pry and towel to open hood. Inspected and found that the hood stops were turned all the way in, not allowing any upwards pressure on the hood while it was closed, and it was letting the hood sag below the fender making the body lines look off. I turned them out 6 turns each and now the hood open and closes every time, and now sits even with the fenders. While the hood was open i went ahead and lubed the hood latch assembly.
- Inspected and found 2 codes, a p018c-00 – Low pressure fuel pressure sensor circuit low, and a p0316-00 – for a misfire detected on the first 1000 revolutions. I removed the number 2 coil and plug and found that the spark plugs are worn and in need of replacement. Next i went to diagnose the P018c, i started by unplugging the sensor and verifying the 5v, ground, and reference circuits are good to the PCM. I next jumped the 5v wire to the reference line and watched the PID on my scan tool, and it maxed out the pressure, I then did the same with the ground wire and jumped it to the reference line and the pressure bottomed out to 0 indicating that the low pressure fuel pressure sensor has and internal fault and can be causing the engine to run rough. At this time id recommend replacement of all 4 spark plugs and coil boots, along with the low pressure fuel pressure sensor and retesting.
- Removed and replaced fuel pressure sensor. Cleared codes and tested.
- Replaced all spark plugs with new. Boots were not provided so I reused the hold ones. Connections seem to be ok. Started and now idling as it should test drove and did not have any misfires come up. I recommend a GDI service for injectors.

2017 Ford Expedition
Mileage97,627Service Date8/12/2025Services Performed- Pulled in and checked ac system. Found system operating and cooling to 49degrees with outside temp of 74. Thats still code but not the best degree of drop. Found low side schrader port bubbling. Found no other evidence of leaks and it did rain yesterday when this was dropped off. This can was any evidence away. At this point, I recommend recovering freon and replacing schrader valves. This is not likely the leak. When we recover we can see how load and gauge how long until the vehicle needs to return for another inspection. After recovering I replaced schrader valves and then charged system. Let it run in shop for 30 minutes and checked for any leaks. None found at this time but with .75lb low would suggest there is a leak that may not be showing itself as of now. Will need back to inspect if it starts blowing cool or warm again.
- Service air conditioner. Check condition of all belts and lines. Evacuate and recharge with reclaimed R-134. Test system performance. Recovered 2.077 Charged 2.75

2017 Chevrolet Camaro
Mileage101,198Service Date8/7/2025Services Performed- Test drove. Could hear a grumpling/rattle noise coming from powertrain. Inspected the engine at idle and no noise present. No knocking noise ever observed. When reving engine up to 1500rpm to 1900rpm rattling noise present. Found that it is not coming from engine and is coming from transmission area. Lifted car and checked transmission fluid. Found trans mission fluid 1 gallon low. Topped off fluid and found leak at the front near transmission cooler lines. It appears it has been leaking for a while. Test drove after topping off fluids and found noise is no longer present. Note; being 1 gallon low ruins transmissions. There could be permanent damage in transmission. I recommend correct trans line leak and drive.
- Removed trans cooler lines from transmission. Replaced gasket with new and bolted back into place. Cleaned are and checked for leaks.
