Inspection began and we confirmed the customers complaint, then we preformed a vacuum test and found there were no leaks and the system had 1.111 lbs of freon and it should be at 1.16 lbs which is almost full. Next we began testing of the A/C compressor and we found it to be failing and has contaminated the cooling system. The low side measured at 15 and the high side at 75 which tells us there is an obstruction in the system and when this happens we have to replace the condenser, the compressor, the expansion valve and flush the system. The customer approved the replacement of all of the A/C components.
Removed the old A/C compressor and replaced it with a new compressor and the new compressor tested good.
Removed the condenser that was clogged up with debris and replaced it with a new condenser and the new condenser tested good.
Replaced the expansion valve and the new valve tested good.
Flushed all of the A/C lines to remove as much of the contaminates as possible.
Service air conditioner. Check condition of all belts and lines. Evacuate and recharge with reclaimed R-134. Test system performance.

Performed a charging system test. Battery tested at 580cca and exceeded it's 450cca rating, Battery tested in good condition. Inspected starter and found it is operating normal. Alternator no load is at 12.58v and with load at 14.29v. The reading is indicating the charging system is functioning properly. Test drove vehicle no light's where illuminated during the test drive. At this time no electrical issues were found.

Lubricate and check chassis. Change oil and oil filter. Check air filter and breather filter. Check all fluid levels and tire pressures. Preform basic safety inspection. Road test vehicle.
Inspected the A/C system and we were able to confirm the customers concern of the A/C is barely cold and not cold at stop lights. We vacuumed down the system and found no leaks were found and little to no freon in the system at all. We also found the A/C cooling fan is not working and will need to be replaced, once replaced we will need to recharge the system with freon and retest the system.
Removed the failing A/C fan and replaced it with a new fan and the new fan tested good and once the system was fully charged proper operation was restored.
Service air conditioner. Check condition of all belts and lines. Evacuate and recharge with reclaimed R-134. Test system performance.

Preformed a scan of the vehicles computer and we found code PO171 (Fuel System too lean Bank 1) so we inspected the engine compartment and we found with a visual inspection the air intake tube to the engine is old and dry rotted has torn from old age. We will need to replace this and clean the MAF sensor and begin retesting.
Removed and replaced the air intake hose and cleaned the MAF sensor and the new part tested good.

Inspected and found a p0420 – catalyst efficiency b1 below threshold set in the ECM as a temporary and permanent code. First thing I checked the fuel trims to verify the vehicle was not running rich causing the catalytic converter to malfunction, the fuel trims were sitting at +7 at idle and +9 with steady throttle driving at 45mph which is ideal and within spec. Next while I was on the text drive I had a partner monitor the rear O2 sensor data while I was steady on the throttle keeping consistent RPM and speed, and found that the rear O2 sensor was rapidly switching from rich to lean back and forth indicating that the catalytic converter is not properly storing oxygen, with a healthy catalytic converter the rear O2 sensor should stay steady on rich or lean and should not rapidly switch. At this time I would recommend replacement of the catalytic converter and the upstream A/F sensor (Honda strongly recommends replacement of the A/F sensor when replacing the catalytic converter by TSB 14-002 due to the faulty catalyst possibly damaging the internal cap in the A/F sensor) While I had the vehicle in the bay I decided to check the spark plugs and found that the spark plugs are starting to wear and need to be replaced. They are not the cause or symptom of the P0420, but will soon cause a misfire. At this time I would recommend replacement of all 4 spark plugs.
Removed cat converter. Installed new one using 2 new gasket. Bolted to spec and then tested. Cleared codes and test drove. No longer have any active dtc.
Removed and replaced spark plugs with new.

Inspected transmission fluid and it is very clean and at proper level there is no burn smell , test drove and shifting good at this time fluid looks good . Inspected and found There is and oil leak coming from the valve cover is leaking recommend replacing valve cover gasket's and also spark plug's as well . Drive belt is missing some rib's , cabin filter is clogged, and front brake pad's are measuring at 2mm and rotor's are getting thin we are able to resurface but would suggest replacing them.
Replaced new valve cover gasket , inspected the area and ensured the was no visuable oil leaks around the new gasket, verified valve cover bolt's are tightened to manufacturer specified torque. Started engine and allowed it to idle for a few minutest to warm up. Check and ensured there was no unusual noises. At this time valve cover is working as designed .
Replaced all 4 spark plugs, started engine and ensure engine has a smooth idle. Test drove vehicle monitored for any warning light and no dtc light's appeared at this time spark plugs are operating as designed.
Replaced serpentine belt , tested and verified belt is properly routed and has proper tension. Started engine and verified there was no unusual noises while engine was running . At this time belt is operating as designed.
Replaced cabin filter completed .
Installed new brake pads and replaced rotors. Test drove and vehicle stopping great.

Inspected and found no obvious leaks. AC comp comes on and fans all working to spec. System appears to be low. High side is 215 and low 40. Recommend servicing and then adding dye.
Service air conditioner. Check condition of all belts and lines. Evacuate and recharge with reclaimed R-134. Test system performance. Recovered .860 and charged to 1.61. System now running 180 high and 29 low which is much better. Now blowing at 36 degrees which is excellent degree of drop. Outside time around 87. Added dye and checked for leaks. None found at this time. I recommend bringing this back asap if it starts to not blow cold. 30 day check wouldn't be a bad idea in case its extremely slow leak.

Tested and lubed both doors. Found right door operates fine but moves a little slow. Left door motor/slider assy has seized and the nylon slides is gone. Not allowing it to auto open. Recommend Left motor assbly and slide.
Door sliding door loose. Romoved interior rear panel to gain access to motor. Removed motor along with cable that run along the interior door track. Ran new cable and installed motor. Placed all panels back in place and secured.
While door was off the track. I replaced the sliders/rollers that failed. Installed door back into place and mechanically tested function. Door slides on the track.
Found door now operates and slides off of scan tool but would not work off the button. Tested and found the door latch neutral safety switch built into to it is not reading accurately causing it to not function. Will need to replace latch assembly.
Took door back off track and gained access to latch assembly on the rear. Replaced with new. Tested function and working as designed.
