- Confirmed concern. Pulled in and found exhuast behind flex pipe had been cut after the flange. Than someone cut the nut off of it. They were likely thinking it was the cat but it was just a muffler/silencer. It will have to be subleted to exhaust shop do to them butchering the system. Custom exhaust would need to be made or purchasing of cat back to silencer would be needed for replacement. These parts have nothing to do with limp mode just exhaust leak. Limp mode is being caused by the caused cat. Removed 02 sensor and was able to drive it without issue. This is allowing the exhaust to get out but very hard on the engine. The engine is running rich since vehicle cant get exhuast out. Recommend replacing cat and testing.
- REPLACED EXHAUST MANIFOLD AND GASKET. CHECKED AND NO EXHAUST LEAKS FOUND.
- Rotors just had rust build up from sitting. Pad life is around 50%. Driving on them will burn rust off.
