  • Inspected and found oil cap sitting above radiator and oil spilling from engine. Recommend draining and oil and replacing filter to get out any contaminants out of it. Also found sway bar links clanking. Left cv axle is popping and right cv axle has open boot.
  • Lubricate and check chassis. Change oil and oil filter. Check air filter and breather filter. Check all fluid levels and tire pressures. Preform basic safety inspection. Cleaned oil from previous oil mess from cap being off. Once clean and dyed I could verify that oil is leaking from oil cooler. Recommend replacing gaskets.
  • Replaced both cv axle assemblies. topped cvt fluid 1/2 qt

  • confirmed hvac temp malfunctioning. code scan returned cabin temp sensor error. visual inspection found knee cover that houses sensor is out of place(pic). removed knee bolster found temp sensor wire and hose both disconnected. reconnected cabin temp sensor to fix. reassembled knee bolster. cleared codes. performed self test passed and operated temp controls with no issue to confirm fix.

  • code scan returned catalyst efficiency b1. inspection found intake boot clamps loose, tightened. cleared codes. temp testing found converters both sides inlet temps hotter than outlets, especially rh b1. cel will most likely come back on requesting catalyst replacement.
  • Service air conditioner. Check condition of all belts and lines. Evacuate and recharge with reclaimed R-134. Test system performance.
