Inspected and found cam actuator clicking upon cold start up. Recommended replacing actuators and needed gaskets as outlined by ford bulletin. Replaced 4 actuators and needed gaskets. Replaced water pump, thermostat and belt while apart. Test drove and vehicle running great and no longer heard rattle upon cold start up.
Advise customer request transmission flush, qualify.

test drove found engine is misfiring @ accel. live misfire data confirmed cyl#5 misfire. code scan also returned exhaust pressure sensor failed. tsb requires replace sensor. REC ENGINE TUNE UP W/#5 IGN COIL. REC REPLACE EXHAUST PRESSURE SENSOR.
replaced spark plugs. found most plugs have carbon tracking from failed ignition coil boots. replaced all ignition coils. cleared codes. test drove good.
Replaced exhaust back pressure sensor and cleared dtc. No dtc reset and pressure sensor reading fine.
CLEANED THROTTLE BODY, RAN INDUCTION CLEANED THROUGH INTAKE AND ADDED 44K CAN TO FUEL TANK.
