Services Performed
- Advise customer states passenger side rear view mirror wont fold out sometimes.
- Replaced mirror and mirror working great adjusting and folding as designed
- Visual inspection shows fluid to be at correct level but a little discolored, No dtc are stored in pcm and no live active faults. Test drove vehicle with scan tool and all shift points have been adapted to by tcm, transmission adaptive pressures are within spec and all within 5psi of each other, Note did find transmission fluid is reaching temperatures of 200 plus with normal driving, but no default conditions occurred. Recommended flushing transmission and deleting thermostat in transmission cooler lines. Customer came in and gave us the dtc sheet that were stored at the time of failure. Dtc u0101 set for loss of communication with tcm, tcm working fine at this time, so we checked powers, grounds and communication wiring, no problems found at this time.
- Install thermostat bypass kit for transmission
- Advise customer request check front end, tie rod end was bent, he replaced.
- TIE ROD &/OR END – Remove & Replace – Rack & Pinion Type Gears Inner,Both – [Includes: R&I Outer Tie Rod Ends.] – [Includes: Adjust toe-in only. NOTE: Deduct .4 if alignment is also performed. NOTE: Manufacturer recommends removal of Rack and Pinion Steer
- STABILIZER BAR CONTROL LINK – Remove & Replace – At Control Arm,Link Kit,Both
- Performed vehicle alignment, adjusted camber, caster, and toe as available. Test drove and vehicle drove straight.
