- confirmed hvac temp malfunctioning. code scan returned cabin temp sensor error. visual inspection found knee cover that houses sensor is out of place(pic). removed knee bolster found temp sensor wire and hose both disconnected. reconnected cabin temp sensor to fix. reassembled knee bolster. cleared codes. performed self test passed and operated temp controls with no issue to confirm fix.
