- Pulled DTC code p0340 which is indicating camshaft position sensor circuit malfunction, this will affect the engine performance such as engine stalling out and difficulty starting and reduce power due to sending a malfunction error to the pcm. Recommend starting with replacing the camshaft sensor and retest.
- Inspected trans fluid is little tinge but no shifting concerns regarding the transmission, Fluid is able to still be serviced.Customer at this time declined trans flush and would to start with the camshaft sensor first and retest.
- Installed new camshaft position sensor, cleared related fault code. checked and ensured the camshaft position sensor and battery are secure. Test drove vehicle to observe performance, monitor with scan tool and verified no fault codes recurred. At this time camshaft sensor is operating as designed and transmission is shifting good.
