- Scanned the computer and found codes relating to the thermostat failing, we preformed further testing of the thermostat manually and found the thermostat is not operating as it should and the temperature is not achieving the temperature the vehicle needs to be at so the Check engine light is coming on. To correct the issue we will need to replace the thermostat and retest the system to ensure proper operation.
- Removed the old thermostat housing and replaced it with a new thermostat housing and the new unit tested out good.
