- Diagnosed the A/C for the customers complaint of no cold air, first we vacuumed down the A/C system and found it to be 1.05lb low on freon. Checked it for leaks and none were found so a recharge of the freon is needed. Inspection of the oil leaks found the valve cover to have a severe leak and the oil pan gasket is also leaking, the rear main and the front seal both have very small leaks. There could be other leaks but it is hard to tell due to a lot of parts being covered in oil. Found a tail light burned out causing the bulb out indicator on the dash to illuminate.
- Service air conditioner. Check condition of all belts and lines. Evacuate and recharge with reclaimed R-134. Test system performance.
- Replaced one tail light bulb on the right rear.
- Removed the valve cover and replaced with new valve cover and all new gaskets.
- Removed the oil pan and put it in the hot water pressure cleaner and once it was cleaned up we reinstalled the oil pan with the new gasket. After re installation no oil leaks were found.
