- Test drove vehicle and confirmed the customers complaint, Returned to the shop and began the inspection. Inspection reveled the vehicle to be extremely low on oil and it needed an oil change. Next we checked the ECU for codes and found a code for the cam position sensor and after further testing confirmed it was in the process of failing. Recommend preforming an oil change and replacing the cam position sensor.
- Lubricate and check chassis. Change oil and oil filter. Check air filter and breather filter. Check all fluid levels and tire pressures. Preform basic safety inspection. Road test vehicle. All tires are aired up to 35psi. 7/32 6mm 7/32 6mm 7/32 5mm 7/32 5mm
- Replaced the cam position sensor and cleared the codes, once completed testing was in order and it checked out good.
